What we do

You give us your Instagram handle and a contact number. We research what you have published, design and build a store website for your business, and send you a private link to it. Building it is free and you are under no obligation at that point.

What you pay

Nothing until you tell us to take your store live. After that you pay a flat monthly subscription at the price shown when you subscribe. There is no setup fee, no commission on your sales, and no per-order charge. You can cancel at the end of any month; we do not refund part-months, and we do not lock you into a term beyond the month you have paid for.

What you own

Your brand, your content, your customer list and your catalogue are yours. Your domain is registered to you. If you leave, you can take your customer and catalogue data with you, and we will hand it over in a usable format on request. We do not sell your data or your customers’ data to anyone.

What we own

The underlying software that runs your store is ours and stays ours. You are licensed to use it for as long as you subscribe. The design we make for your business is yours to keep using elsewhere.

What you promise us

That the business is yours, that you have the right to the images and words we build your store from, and that what you sell is legal to sell where you sell it. We may decline or stop a store that breaks this — and if we do, you pay nothing further.

What we promise you

We will not put your store in front of the public without your say-so. We will not add advertising to it. We will not change your prices. If we cannot build you something we would be happy to put our own name to, we will tell you rather than deliver it.

Interruptions

We host your store on infrastructure we do not own, and payments run through Razorpay. We will keep your store up and fix breakages as fast as we can, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the previous three months.

Changing these terms

If we change them in a way that matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you disagree.

Stores is run by TinFactory (Means of Production), the software studio at tinfactory.co. Reach us on the WhatsApp number we contact you from, or through the request form on this site.
